Journey to Morocco- Day 6

Day 6 (22/03/08)

We left Bolonia that early morning for Tarifa.

Rai Ali, very kindly drove us there. Upon reaching there, we went to the police station and asked for a map of the town. They also recommended several cheap hostels. Very helpful indeed.

After searching, we finally decided on Hostel Villanueva. It costed us 55 Euros for 3 people per night.

We were actually expecting to find much cheaper hostels around, but the standard price seemed to be around that range. Apparently, the owner is from Casablanca. So, while waiting for our rooms to be cleaned, we chatted with him. He couldn't speak much English but somehow, we found a way to communicate.

Among all the hostels, I think I like this one best. The toilet was superbly clean!
After resting, we went out to lunch at a place named Central Cafe and had ice cream afterwards.

We walked around the little town and found a cheaper backpackers' hostel! Only 40 Euros for 3 people per night without an en-suite bathroom. We decided to stay there on our 2nd night in Tarifa.

Day 6 was a lazy day. It was also a gloomy day with no sun. After 'shopping' at a mini supermarket (where I bought Danish cookies..yummm), we went back to our room.

That night, we slept with the TV on...
