My braces are in place now!
The whole procedure took about 20 minutes, much faster than I expected.
It was relatively painless, except when Dr James was gluing the brackets to each of my tooth and that required an expander-like appliance to stretch my mouth. Uncomfortable, but bearable.
I chose silver elastic bands today. I was gonna go for a more daring colour but I chickened out because I wasn't sure how I would look like in braces.
Right now, I feel fine and I think I look fine. (hehe)
Perhaps next time, I'll get blue or red!
My teeth feels a little tight right now but there is no general discomfort. Hopefully it will stay this way until the next visit to the orthodontist, about a month from now.
