My lovely pencil case

Is it silly to feel a little down over a lifeless object?

This is my pencil case of 7 years.

I fell in love with it when I first saw it at a little kiosk in Singapore. That was in Year 2003. I think it costed about SGD 10.

Since then, it has been my trusty ol' pencil case. It accompanied me through my A levels and undergrad years.

It has nearly survived my first year at work.


Sadly, the zip 'gave up'.


My pencil case is officially retiring.


I won't bear to throw it away though.


So is it silly to feel a little sad?
